I am Kevin E. Ramos, a second year PhD student in the biochemistry department at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. My research interests are in exploiting the robustness of viral proteins to develop antiviral therapeutics. In my free time I like to draw/paint, learn about wine, and work on creating an equitable environment for all in STEM.
Michelle Huang has a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, a masters degree in biomedical science from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and is currently a PhD candidate studying neuropsychiatric lupus (lupus of the brain) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her free time is spent thrifting, sewing, and exploring the city.
Samantha Washburn, Ph.D., received her doctorate in Neuroscience from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she examined the role of the cerebellum—the “little brain” located at the back of the skull—in motor control and movement disorders.
Danielle MacCrory is a physical therapist and clinic director at ATI Physical Therapy in Hanover, MD. When she isn't running a clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, and taking care of her newborn daughter, Claire.
Victor has a masters degree in biomedical science and is a PhD candidate working on adipocyte (fat cell) metabolism at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Lara has a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing and spending time in the sun.
